Reality Leigh Winner was arrested on June 3, 2017 and awaits trial for 1 charge under the Espionage Act for allegedly leaking a document detailing Russian election interference. She remains in jail in GA. Her mother has retired from her work with Texas Child Protective Services in order to relocate to GA and to support and advocate for Reality. The family is faced with the costs of 2 households, travel, advocating, and ensuring Reality has funds available to her while incarcerated.
