Stand With Reality and Billie Winner-Davis are co-hosting a gathering on Saturday, September 2nd, from 11am to 2pm, in Kingsville, Texas (Dick Kleberg Park, 501 E Escondido Rd, Kingsville TX 78363). Family, friends and supporters will come together in Reality Winner’s home town, to share information about her case, who Reality is as a person, and what you can do to help her get out of jail and on with her life.

Billie Winner Davis and others will speak about Reality and the many ways in which she is a patriot who has continued to serve her country and democracy. There will be live music, an informal community meeting, and plenty to see and do:

We will have a photo gallery of Reality in her element: doing and teaching yoga; volunteering with children with disabilities; doing her crossfit and weight training regimen; taking care of animals from an animal rescue, and living life with her loved ones.

We will have a selection of Reality’s amazing artwork on display, including paintings and drawings she has created over the years, as well as sketches of human rights leaders she has been doing while in jail.

We will have a photo booth, where you can take pictures for the #standwithreality gallery, which will be shared with Reality and online, as a powerful visual demonstration of community support.

We will have a writing area, where you can send postcards to US Representatives in the area. And at the same time, you can send postcards to Reality and share messages of support.

There will be “Free Reality” buttons, t-shirts, and stickers. And there will be an information table, with materials explaining aspects of her case, including:

• Why she should be treated as a whistleblower, not a spy
• How the electoral system has been compromised and how to protect it
• The importance of the free press and protecting journalists and the media
• What you can do to help Reality get a fair trial

This will be a day to get to know Reality, her roots, and her passions, through her family and friends, and in her own words. It will be a day to learn more about the charges and legal procedures she is facing. And it will be a day to make concrete contributions to winning her freedom.

Support is growing for Reality and there have been important developments in her legal case, but she is still facing 10 years in prison and a $250,000 fine. And she is still far from receiving the fair trial she deserves. We urge you to attend, bring your friends and family, and spread the word. In addition to music, we’ll have some food. (Feel free to bring something if you like.)
